We process the data you provide for the following purposes:

  1. Managing comments: To let you interact on the blog (Legal basis: the data subject’s consent).
  2. Contact: To respond to your enquiries sent through forms or email (Legal basis: consent).
  3. Statistical analysis: To improve the website through the use of analytics cookies (Legal basis: the data subject’s consent).

Contact form

When you fill in the Contact form available on this website, we collect the following data: name, email address and message. This data is necessary to respond to your enquiry.

  • Purpose: to handle your enquiry and, where appropriate, maintain professional communications related to it.
  • Legal basis: your express consent by ticking the acceptance box of this Privacy policy (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • Retention period: the data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, for up to 1 year from the last communication, unless there is a legal retention obligation or a professional relationship is started with the controller.
  • Technology used: the form is built with the Kadence Blocks plugin. Processing takes place within the website’s own infrastructure.

Data retention

Personal data will be kept for as long as the relationship with the user is maintained, its deletion is not requested by the data subject, or for the years necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Recipients

Your data will not be shared with third parties, except where legally required. However, we use third-party services that may process data:

  • Google Analytics 4: anonymous traffic measurement (ID: GT-PJWCNX24). Aggregated data, does not allow individual identification.
  • Microsoft Clarity: behaviour analysis (heatmaps and session recordings with sensitive data masked), operated by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Only activated after your consent.
  • Hosting: OVH, ubicado en la UE.

International transfers

Some external services used (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) are operated by companies whose parent is located outside the European Union (United States). International data transfers to these companies are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, a certification adopted by the European Commission as an adequate level of protection, and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission itself. Additionally, Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage set to “denied” until the user gives explicit consent through the cookie banner.

Your rights regarding our privacy policy

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Request their deletion when they are no longer necessary.
  • Request the restriction u objection their processing.
  • Portability of the data.
  • The right to withdraw consent en cualquier momento, sin que ello afecte a la licitud del tratamiento basado en el consentimiento previo a su retirada (art. 7.3 GDPR).
  • The right not to be subject to automated decisions or profiling. This website does not carry out automated processing that produces legal effects on the data subject.

I will only request an identity document if there are reasonable doubts about your identity, as provided for in Article 12(6) GDPR. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), which is the competent authority for Privacy policy and data protection in Spain.
